Crochet Time!

I'm so excited!  My husband is heading back to work and with that means I'll be back to alone time to crochet after cleaning the house.

Projects in the works:
perfecting the Lion Brands arm warmer pattern I found
a fun jellyfish that I'm tweaking from this pattern with fun bulky yarn
custom red, white, and blue throw
ferret hammocks (only have red fleece right now)

Scarf season is upon us though and I really want to encourage people to get in their orders now.  If you purchase from my shop here, use code SCARF11 for free shipping!  Once I have the arm warmers perfected, I will be putting them up and I will be offering a special of matching scarf, hat, and arm warmers as they're made out of the same yarn as the scarves!!!  I have not decided on the specifics yet, but will post once I've decided.

Fall is Coming!!!

Well here in Colorado Springs it is 56 outside and drizzling outside.  The highs have decided they are done reaching into the 90s and we are lucky to hit the 80s.  Oh fall is definitely on its way!!!  The mountains have already started getting very small amounts of snow.  Oh we are coming up on my personal favorite time of year, winter!

But we're not there yet and this is the perfect time to start thinking about and buying your winter gear.  A good scarf is useful here from October till April and sometimes into May.  This is the perfect time to think about purchasing this years fab choice.  Because of this, a scarf special will begin running in the next couple of weeks to run through Halloween (my personal favorite time of year).  Use code SCARF11 at checkout in the Etsy shop and receive free shipping.

Shop status: custom orders are definitely open and I am working on one as we speak.  I'm definitely back into crocheting now that the highs are no longer in the 90s (too hot for me to deal with yarn).  I'm also working on a throw for personal use that I can't wait to share with y'all.  If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask!

GIVEAWAY TIME!!!!

Ok, it's time for the giveaway for the fan page!  This should have been posted at 9 am when I woke up, but things got a bit hectic this morning seeing as one of my ferrets thought it would be cool to get himself stuck in the loveseat LOL.  Ok, here are the rules.  The giveaway will be open until 5 pm MDT (the next 5 hours).  Everyone that comments in that time will be given a number (based on their order in the comments) and I will have random.org choose the winner.  Please make sure when you comment that you allow for me to email you so that I can contact the winner.  I will also post a blog with the winner as well.  Please include your name in your comment.  The winner will get to choose any item priced at $25 or less from the Ready to Ship or Sale albums on the fan page.  Once I have contacted the winner and got their shipping information I will mail out the prize.  I will give the winner 24 hours to claim their prize and then I will choose another winner if they have not contacted me.  So here we go! Custom Orders

To place a custom order, comment under the pattern or item you would like custom made with the specifics (size, color, etc) or you can email that same information through the contact tab!  Access the patterns for custom items here.  Most dresses for girls are $35 for calico cotton fabric or $40 for ACU fabric.  Other combinations should be discussed in a pm or email.   Shipping information is $5 in most cases right now, but if that changes, I will update that information on that item.

Last day for custom orders is 7/21 and custom orders, as of right now, will resume on 8/15.  As things change, I will update the page.

Giveaway Details

We're almost to 100 fans and I thought it would be wise to get the giveaway rules in writing now!  What we're going to do is once we reach 100 fans, I'll post a blog post about it and the first people to comment will get put into a drawing.  I haven't decided how many comments yet, but I'll figure that out when we reach 100 fans.  The winner will get to choose any item in the Ready to Ship and Sale albums on the fan page that is under $25 as their prize.  I will ask the winner to send me an email with their mailing address and which item they would like and I will get it into the mail.  Please note, that I will only enter each person once only!  I can't wait for the giveaway and for a lucky fan to get a free item!
